Power & Controls
A compatible LED driver is required to operate the shower niche lighting. Driver requirements depend on the LED type, voltage, length, and number of lights being installed.
Single-color lighting can be paired with a compatible dimmable driver and wall dimmer. Addressable RGB systems require the appropriate RGB controller and compatible power supply.
For installations with multiple niches, one properly sized driver may be able to power multiple lights.

Never bury a power supply behind a wall; ensure it remains in an accessible location, such as inside a vanity or a closet. Plan your project in advance to ensure your kit is ready and your schedule remains on track.
Finally, always test your solution immediately upon arrival rather than waiting until the day of installation.

How do I choose the correct size for my shower niche lighting?
Measure the width of your unfinished niche rough opening (stud to stud). For example, if the rough opening is 24 inches, you must deduct the thickness of the tile and a mortar; this means you would likely need a 22–23 inch kit. We recommend confirming your tile thickness with your contractor
Do you offer custom sizes or larger dimensions?
If your project requires dimensions beyond our standard stock, we offer custom-cut lengths to fit any architectural requirement. Please contact our support team with your specific measurements for a bespoke quote.
Can a single power supply support multiple shower niches?
Yes, a single power supply can typically support multiple niches. If your project includes more than one niche in a bathroom, you likely won’t need multiple power supplies so you can save some money. Please reach out to us, and we’ll be happy to help with your order.

Is a motion or sound sensor required for operation?
Sensors are not required but are a popular add-on for a hands-free, 'luxury hotel' feel. For a simple installation, we recommend choosing a wall dimmer with a built-in motion or sound sensor so your niche can be controlled automatically. For more complex layouts, a separate dedicated sensor may be required; please reach out to us if you need assistance with your configuration
What wiring is required for niche installation?
We recommend using 18/2 AWG low-voltage wire between the power supply and the niche. Always ensure your wiring is pulled to the niche location before the tiling process begins. Note: Our solution includes a 3-foot pre-soldered lead; if your installation requires a longer run, you can purchase additional wire, which we will pre-solder for you to ensure a secure connection
Can this lighting be installed horizontally or at the base of the niche?
Our encapsulated LED solution is designed for versatile mounting and can be installed at the top, sides, or bottom of the niche. However, when installing at the base, we recommend applying an additional waterproofing agent to ensure water is not trapped between the LED and the channel, effectively preventing any potential mold buildup. Its exactly as ordered to size of my rough opening and a great product cheaper than any of the competitors with the same exact rgb lighting kit for shower niches another great feature is although led's last a lot longer nothing last forever and this is able to be changed out without removing tile or any intrusion

I did call that number to get some more information as to where I should place the transformer. They were very helpful!! The end result is beautiful upscale niche lighting in your shower/tub area and it also has a dimming feature. So beautiful.

When you order 2 you should get all the pets for two they only sent two lights but only one controller and one power supply it's a good thing I'm putting the lights in the same bathroom or I would be missing pieces. I went back to this and changed my view point The company was very quick to fix the issue.

My 4 star rating is because the item just isn't worth the amount charged. This is a $40 item at most. I got sucked in by the Facebook and Etsy ads. Item works, and was actually overpackaged (a challenge to get out of the shipping tube but certainly protected). I just don't think it is premium product that justifies the price.
